Every thought, behavior, and decision occurs in a social context.
We research how interactions between people and their social environments relate to adaptive cognitive behaviors, specifically language and flexible social cognition. To do this, we blend computational sociological methods like Social Network Analysis and Census neighborhood analysis with experimental neurocognitive techniques, including eyetracking and behavioral tasks.
